About Mushie

Mushie was in her first trimester when her morning sickness developed into a rare condition called Hyperemesis Gravidarum. She had no choice but to quit her job as an elementary school teacher and brace herself for extreme nausea and painful headaches.

Sentenced to bed rest, she turned to the only thing that made it all worthwhile - her baby. She spent days designing the perfect nursery, following Mommy Bloggers on Instagram, and searching for the perfect baby products.

But she was often frustrated by what she found. Potentially harmful plastics and chemical dyes didn't seem right for a newborn, but eco-friendly products were often out of her budget. She thought there must be a way to provide the best for baby without sacrificing safety, design, or her budget.

And after spending months on her research, she gave birth to a beautiful baby boy...and a brand was born too!
