Polepole (poh-leh poh-leh) means slowly, slowly in Swahili, and this is how these whimsical miniatures are created. Handcrafted by skilled artisans in Bali from albizia wood, a fast-growing lightweight white wood native to the South Pacific. Each piece is painstakingly carved and sanded to a satin finish, with no oils or lacquers, then subtle details are hand painted, like the classic comical markings of this Skunk.

Note: Polepole are intended for gentle child’s play and home decor. Our kids do play with these, but they are NOT as sturdy as our hardwood brands.

- Care: Wash by wiping with warm soapy water. Rinse and dry immediately. Do not soak wood products in water.
